ABOUT

The Dirty Dozen Calendar Contest was launched in the fall of 2014 as a way to celebrate WISSOTA race car drivers while engaging fans in a new and exciting way. Unlike traditional contests, it puts the power directly in the hands of the fans, who vote to decide which drivers will be featured in the annual calendar.
After a short pause following its inaugural year, the contest returned in 2017 and has since grown into a highly anticipated fall tradition. In 2026, the Dirty Dozen will celebrate its 11th edition, marking over a decade of fan-driven competition.
With an average of more than 20,000 voters each year, the contest has developed a loyal, cult-like following.

But the Dirty Dozen isn’t just about gathering votes—it’s about creativity, strategy, and learning how to rally and engage social media supporters. Drivers who succeed know how to excite their fans, tell their story, and keep the spotlight on their racing journey.
More than a contest, the Dirty Dozen is a one-of-a-kind social experiment—teaching racers the power of digital presence while celebrating the talent, energy, and passion of the WISSOTA racing community.
